FAQs
Who organizes Startup Omaha Week?
Startup Omaha Week is a volunteer and community-led and organized event. All events are organized by those hoping to make a difference within the startup community and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the greater Omaha community including startup founders, startup employees, support organizations, and many more.
Is there a cost to attend?
All events held during Startup Omaha Week are free and open to the community unless specified on our website and as a part of registration. While registration is encouraged ahead of the event to ensure accurate headcounts, event seating, etc., it’s not required to join us and be in attendance. However, there may be some perks along the way for putting Startup Omaha Week on your calendar early (did we mention some cool SWAG giveaways?!).
Where are the sessions held? How do I get around to various events?
The organizing team wanted to spotlight a number of locations throughout the greater Omaha community where innovation is happening. If you or someone you know is interested in attending, but transportation is an issue, please contact us – we’d love to help and ensure anyone is able to attend our programming and events.
How can I be featured at the Startup Showcase event?
If you would like to be featured during the startup showcase, please send an email directly to our contact email, startupomahaweek@gmail.com and a member of our organizing team will be in touch with you to make sure you fit the criteria required for participation.
How do I become a sponsor?
Sponsorship information is available on our Sponsors page. Startup Omaha Week would not be made possible without support from our fantastic community sponsors and supporters at all levels.
I have an idea for an event. Can I host it during Startup Omaha Week?
At this point in time, programming is fairly solidified for Startup Omaha Week 2022. We are open to any and all ideas and want to hear from you. Please send us your idea and we’ll see if we can fit it into this year’s programming or add it to our list for next year.
Are there any safety measures in place regarding COVID-19?
At this time, our organizing team is paying close attention to the guidance and guidelines provided by our local public health officials along with the CDC. Any decisions regarding public health safety measures will be made based on the guidance provided by the Douglas County Health Department and will be communicated to attendees ahead of the event or at the time of the event. For more information on the latest updates related to COVID-19 in our community, please visit https://www.douglascountyhealth.com/latest-news.
I have a question that’s not listed above. Who can I contact?
You’re welcome to fill out the contact us form located at the top of our website or please feel free to send us an email at startupomahaweek@gmail.com. A member of our organizing team will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
